That was so kind!

It’s been a little nerve racking trying to navigate the new normal. I am so grateful and blessed to be safe and well and I grieve for those who through getting the virus or losing a job or missing their eduction were affected. I did see many moments of kindness and want to celebrate one here.

I ventured back to get my hair done and was so impressed by all of the safety protocols. As I was waiting on my 6’ spot to check in, I overheard a conversation that I will never forget. There was an older women struggling to check out. Her ride was waiting in the car and she was alone. She was unable to sort her money to pay her bill and was unsure of which services she had received. The workers behind the plexiglass were unbelievably kind. The waited patiently then quickly understood that she would not be able to complete the task. The woman dropped her cash and iit scattered all over the floor. One of the workers came around from behind the glass and picked everything up for her. The entire service team at the desk helped this woman complete her task with dignity and assisted with putting on her coat, walking her to the car, opening the door and helping her in. All done without rushing and with smiles on their faces. This was true grace and kindness and it only took a few extra moments.

Bring the kindness to others. It costs nothing. Just Be Kind
